1. Craigavon Lakes Family Trail
This mountain bike trail was designed for adults and children with basic off road riding skills, which runs around the lakes and winds through the trees. Some sections can be more challenging than others and may include obstacles such as stones, roots etc. At the centre there are parking facilities available, bike hire, cafe and toilets.
This quiet yet scenic route runs on a path along the old canal, running from Newry Town Hall to the Bann Bridge in Portadown, it runs mostly flat therefore it is not a tough cycle and suitable for all ages.
The Lagan and Lough Cycle Way offers a total of 21 miles of flat, traffic-free, and scenic paths. If you are taking kids its easy to cycle just a section on the route.
4. Giant's Causeway to Bushmills
This 2 mile traffic free path offers a great opportunity for families with children to capture the spectacular views off the coast along a traffic free path.
A short 5km stretch especially designed for cyclists and walkers, with seating along the route for scenic places to rest those little legs!
