National Cycle Network in Northern Ireland
The National Cycle Network in Northern Ireland is a network of signed cycle ways that are here for everyone to enjoy! The routes vary from traffic-free and family-friendly to ‘challenge’ and long-distance routes.

You will encounter many areas of natural beauty along the network, from charming lakes, canals and forest parks to big attractions such as the Giant’s Causeway and the stunning National Trust properties.
Free leaflets are available for most of the routes, where you can find out about facilities and amenities, gradients, directions and local history. There are also 4 maps available to purchase for the long-distance routes. These are available from Sustrans (who are the charity behind the network) by email or by calling 028 9043 4569.
